Demetria M. BahashDemetria received her Juris Doctor and a Labor & Employment Law Certificate from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business, magna cum laude, from Wayne State University. She was an active member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society, the Environmental Law Society, The Society of Women in Law, and the Labor & Employment Law Society. While attending law school, Demetria participated in a Public Interest Housing Workshop and worked with the Coalition for Property Tax Justice in Detroit. She has also completed two externships with the National Labor Relations Board, Region 7, in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Demetria’s experience focused on traditional labor union law, a broad array of federal and state employment matters, and alternative dispute resolutions. Demetria is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and she is currently a member of the SBM Labor and Employment Law Section, the Detroit Bar Association, and the AFL-CIO Union Lawyers Alliance.
